PresenterPrep is an AI-powered presentation practice platform. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over your data. Questions? Email us at hello@presenterprep.com.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to create and maintain your account.
Uploaded content. When you upload a presentation deck, we convert it to images and store those images so the practice coach can navigate your slides.
Practice sessions. When you record a take, we store its transcript and the AI feedback on your delivery. If you choose to save a recording, we store the video and audio from your camera and microphone. In a mock interview, we also store the interview questions and your spoken answers.
Share links. If you share a recording, we store that link and track basic view analytics (views, unique viewers) so you can see who’s watching.
Usage data. We collect page views and feature events through PostHog to understand how the product is used. This data is anonymized and not tied to your pitch content.
Technical data. Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, timestamps — used for security and debugging.
We may use anonymized, aggregated usage patterns to improve the product. You can opt out of having your session data used to improve our AI coach by emailing hello@presenterprep.com.
Your scripts, decks, recordings, and transcripts are treated as private user content. We use them only to provide the features you ask for — to store them for you, generate your feedback, and (only when you choose) power a share link. We do not use your pitch content to train third-party AI models. You control this content: you can delete any of it, or your whole account, at any time (see Your Rights), and your rights to it are governed by our Terms of Service. Please don’t upload confidential or sensitive material you’re not authorized to share.
We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service — such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and transactional email. These providers access only what they need to do their job.
We may disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights. That’s it.
We use Google Sign-In only for authentication. We request the minimum scopes: your name, email, and profile picture. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google service without your explicit consent.
You can revoke PresenterPrep’s access at any time in your Google account security settings.
If you connect PresenterPrep to Claude (via the MCP connector at mcp.presenterprep.com), Claude can write and save practice scripts to your account, open the in-chat Recording Booth so you can record a take, and read back the transcript and feedback for your recordings. We issue an OAuth access token scoped to your account — Claude cannot access any other user’s data. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the connector in your Claude settings.
Your data is stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure in the United States. Deck images and recordings are stored in private buckets accessible only to you, except content you explicitly share via a share link.
We make every reasonable effort to keep your data safe and use standard security measures to protect it. But we want to be honest with you: we cannot guarantee perfect security. No online service can, and PresenterPrep is built and run by a very small, independent team — real people, not a large company with a dedicated security department. We do our best, and we fix problems quickly when we find them, but mistakes are possible. Please don’t upload anything that would cause you serious harm if it were exposed.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. PostHog sets a first-party analytics cookie to count visits and feature events. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking.

PresenterPrep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it promptly.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top and notify you by email for significant changes.
